Bienvenido! I am a published poet and Multiply's TOS affects my ability to submit to magazines, publications, etc, whether in print or online. Thus, I only post rough drafts and remove them after a few weeks.

Back to blogging...I think...I will be blogging again...have just been feeling listless...see everybody this weekend.

August Competition To my surprise, I am receiving a lot of inquiries regarding the contest. Please visit the blog and try your hand at submitting a poem: August Competition The theme for August is "when walls fall". The deadline is August 15, 2010. The prize is $25. Are you a wall breaker? Do you respect boundaries or does a wall kindle the urge to tear it down? 1. Pay a fee of $1 per poem to: Paypal (you may need to create an account). Send a $1 payment to subversivehuman@gmail.com. 2. Submit poetry to subversivehuman@gmail.com WITH the Paypal receipt number and the word "Submissiom" in the subject line. 3. COPY and PASTE the poem(s) in the body of the email. 4. Include a bio (no more than 100 words), your name, address, phone# and email. An accompanying picture is allowed. 5. Previous and simultaneous submissions are allowed but please indicate if you own copyright and where the poem was previously published. If accepted for publication elsewhere, notify us as soon as possible. 6. Must be 18 and older. 7. Poems must be submitted in English. Today I am blogging, writing while jamming to a little Soundgarden. Today is my writing day. Next month I will start attending a local poetry circle, which I have been highly resistant to, since laving Seattle. Seattle inspired and nurtured me. It was where I first found the poets at 360 like Tammy, Debbie, Sassy, Joyce, Steph, Rubina , odd folks like Bert and wonderful essayists like Rusty and Astro...sigh...things and people do move on but I am a old fogy and I HATE change...
I just set-up my page at the new Secluded Paradise spot...have to play with the settings later, so that I can achieve a better look....hmmm
AARRRGGGG...I have spent the day submitting poetry and chapbooks. Because of the TOS crap at Multiply, I have been very careful of publication's submission guidelines. Out of five submissions, three magazines/contests stated that the poetry cannot be previously published and that INCLUDES blogs. So I removed my Wordpress blog and removed all poetry from Blogger. I am in the process, of posting only previously published poems, on Blogger. Sigh....and when I updated my Blogger it posed the published poem on Multiply...so I had to come back and delete...I gotta fix that link...LOL...I guess I will finish updating Blogger tomorrow. I am BEAT.
I am not sure what happened but you guys have to rejoin Sacred Song Space. You can see the link in my Groups list.
I guys, I returned to work AMA (against medical advise) yesterday. It was a difficult day...sigh...back to the doctors tomorrow, for more lectures on how I require rest to heal yada yada. My supervisor is aghast that I returned. I informed her that I like to eat, have electricity etc etc and that requires a FREAKING PAYCHECK.
